Information on the Tryout Process
 
  • All players must register and pay a tryout fee in order to be eligible to participate in tryout session.

  • All players are expected to attend all tryout sessions for their age group.  If you expect to miss any of the scheduled tryout sessions, please make sure to clearly communicate your schedule when you check in on the first night so that the coaching staff can be prepared to give your player adequate attention.

  • Any player who did not play for the Stars organization during the 2009-2010 season must show proof of USA Hockey registration at check-in on the first night of tryouts. Families can visit www.usahockeyregistration.com to complete the process and obtain a registration confirmation.

  • Players will be issued a jersey to wear during tryouts. All jerseys must be returned at the conclusion of each tryout session (each night) and can be picked up at the check-in desk before the next session.

     
  • All selected players will be offered a contract for a specific age and level at the conclusion of tryouts (e.g. PeeWee A). The contract must be signed and returned with payment the same night or that spot will be offered to another player.
